Fondazione SAME has contributed to the purchase of a new ultrasound scanner for the Simple Unit of Clinical Senology and Mammographic Screening of the Treviglio Hospital.

The new ultrasound scanner will make it possible to increase the accuracy and speed of senological diagnoses, through the search for small lesions, reducing the number of false positives and providing real-time information on the location of suspicious masses, even of minimal size, during the ultrasound examination.
