Mama Kevina Hope Centre
The SAME Foundation is committed to the financial and logistical support of the Mama Kevina Hope Centre, an important point of reference for about 600 children from rural villages in the Same and Mwanga districts, who face various forms of disability.
The aid was used to build a therapeutic gym, renovate the laundry and bathrooms and purchase physiotherapy equipment and mobility aids for children with various conditions, thus offering them new opportunities for growth, development and social inclusion.
All the work was completed and inaugurated on 12 November 2024.
In 2025 the following purchases are planned:
- physiotherapy equipment to improve therapeutic programmes and personalise rehabilitation activities.
- furniture for the dormitories: beds, mattresses and wardrobes
- sewing machines to start tailoring courses
